House of Stonewall
The House of Stonewall is a collective; a collaboration between service users and alumni who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness as a result of their gender or sexual identity.
Ambassadors are trained in public speaking and community action, so they can represent the issues of their community to key agencies, housing providers and political decision makers.
We want our community’s voices to be heard and help them create and provide platforms to pave the way forward for future generations.
The House of Stonewall has been designed to embed the four core principles of an original ‘Haus ’
- LGBTQ+ Community and chosen family
- Housing and safe spaces to be your most authentic LGBTQ+ self
- Love and support
- Paying it forward and social responsibility to the community
