Camley Street Natural Park

We have had two visits to Camley Street Natural Park (, which is run by the Wildlife Trust. During the visits clients explored the woodland, meadow and pond habitats, and identified plants and wildlife. During our last visit we also did some artwork and one drawing was randomly selected for a prize.

Accumul8 Photography Course

Ever wanted to study Photography? We have a unique opportunity for Stonewall Housing service users to learn from the tutors and students at Ravensbourne College during a 15 week course run by Accumul8. The sessions will take place once a week for two hours in various places across London and will end in an exhibition where you will be able to showcase and sell your work. Everything will be provided for you, and you don’t need to have any experience. Just bring your creativity and we will sort out the rest! If you are interested in attending this please get in touch with us to let us know!

Nerdy Pub Quiz Fundraiser

On the 18th October Stonewall Housing hosted a Nerdy Quiz to raise funds to send some of our clients on the Accumul8 photography course. The event was organised by Lola Phoenix, who describes themselves as “an agender aspie living London, hailing from the US South. When Lola's not busy working, Lola enjoys writing original fiction (writing projects found @AlastorPhoenix), writing fanfiction, watching the same films and TV shows again and again."

The Nerdy Quiz was a great success, raising over £300! It was sponsored by Addison Lee, and prizes were generously donated by a number of organisations including Attraction Tix, Prince Charles Cinema, Lush, Bar Wotever, Open Barbers, Penguin Books, Agent November, Qwertee, Starbucks, Raygun Comics, and Abel & Cole.

Pride Volunteers Group

I know it’s January, but we are already thinking about Pride 2017! We would like to hear from clients about how they would like Stonewall Housing to be represented during Pride, and we’ll be setting up a Volunteers Group soon. The group will meet once a month at one of the Stonewall Housing projects. If you would like to be involved we would love to hear from you! Just email
