Reaching Out

We've been working in partnership with Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) to develop the 'Reaching Out' project. The aim of the project is to provide education and awareness around hate crime and domestic abuse within London's Deaf Community. The project is open to all Deaf people living in the London boroughs, but we will be sharing our knowledge of working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people including young LGBT+ people. Watch this short film about the project:

Stonewall Housing is thrilled to announce that we are one of 12 finalists in the annual World Habitat Awards

One hundred inspiring projects around the world were selected to be considered for this years awards, with twelve being shortlisted.

Spanning projects across the world from Sri Lanka to Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Benin and Senegal to Mexico, all projects showcase a variety of housing solutions, including post-disaster, community led approaches, homes for marginalised or vulnerable groups, and developing local skills for income generation.

Stonewall Housing provide the UK's only housing advice, advocacy and accomodation specifically for LGBT+ people often marginalised by mainstream services. We also offer a wide variety of services to support LGBT+ people facing housing issues, developing awareness and procedures that deliver equal access to services.
