The Ambassadors Programme is a programme of developing volunteer ambassadors, who have experience or are experiencing homelessness as a result of their sexual identity. These volunteers will be trained in public speaking and community action, so they can represent the issues of their community to key agencies, housing providers and political decision makers.
They will make a difference to their communities by encouraging local authorities and providers to address the needs of the LGBT+ community.
They will be brought together to build support networks.
By participating in this programme they will be given the opportunity to develop new skills, confidence, build resilience and the life skills to thrive.
